Patient Health Benefits :
My practice allows clients to optimize their nutrition on their own terms. We work together to identify goals, wade through the information they have been considering and identifying facts vs myths regarding nutrition and cancer. This allows the client to focus on the things that will have the biggest influence on their well-being.
Inspiration or Passion behind my practice :
The cancer survivors I have had the privilege of journeying alongside are the heart and soul of my passion. Two in particular are very close to my heart. My friend, Jeff, who passed of melanoma 3 years ago and my Grandma Jo who as treated for lymphoma at age 85, and passed just last June after being cancer free for 8 years.
Additional practice information:
I would love for people to do two things when it comes to evaluating food information.
1. Drop the guilt.
2. Use common sense.
These two things can help a lot when trying to determine if a piece of information is truth or myth!
